Agriculture Minister Szabolcs Bóna confirmed the move, framing it as a measure to support liquidity during the critical harvest period.
The early payout addresses seasonal cash-flow pressures that typically strain farm operations in late summer.
By front-loading the support, the government aims to ensure producers have immediate access to capital for harvesting, logistics, and storage costs.
This timing aligns with the peak expenditure phase for many agricultural enterprises, reducing the need for short-term borrowing.
