Ola Electric reported a narrowed net loss of ₹336 crore for the first quarter of fiscal 2027, driven by a sharp rise in automotive revenue and nearly doubled vehicle deliveries.

The electric vehicle manufacturer also announced it had raised ₹780 crore through an oversubscribed qualified institutional placement (QIP) to fund expansion plans, including the upcoming launch of its Mahashakti energy storage product on August 15.

Despite the improved operational metrics and capital raise, Ola Electric shares extended their decline for a third consecutive session, falling more than 0.8% to close at ₹42.05 on the National Stock Exchange.

The stock opened at ₹42.41, slightly below Monday's close, indicating that investors remain cautious about the company's path to profitability despite the recovery in market share.

The Q1 results highlight a divergence between operational progress and market sentiment.

While deliveries and revenue improved significantly, the continued share price pressure suggests traders are weighing the capital raise and ongoing losses against broader sector headwinds.
