Cyprus-based IT distributor ASBISc Enterprises Plc, widely known as Asbis, has reported its most profitable quarter in company history, driven by surging demand for artificial intelligence hardware.

The distributor announced that net profit for the period more than tripled compared to the same quarter last year, marking a significant acceleration in earnings momentum for the firm.

The results underscore the breadth of the AI infrastructure build-out, which is now extending beyond chipmakers and server assemblers to the distribution channels that supply components to end-users.

Asbis, a key player in the European IT supply chain, highlighted that the surge in orders reflects sustained enterprise investment in AI-ready systems.

This performance aligns with a broader trend of strength across the IT services and distribution sector.

Earlier this week, UK IT services provider Computacenter saw its shares surge 11% to an all-time high after announcing expectations to double half-year profits, indicating that the market is repricing the entire value chain for AI-related growth.
