Chile's Ministry of Health has published the 2025 management evaluation results for its public hospital network, revealing a significant performance gap across the system.
Posta Central emerged as the top performer, securing a score of 91.1% in the assessment.
The results were announced by Health Minister May Chomali and Undersecretary of Assistance Networks Julio Montt.
The evaluation highlights systemic challenges within the public health infrastructure, as more than half of the assessed hospitals failed to meet the established performance targets.
The disparity between the leading facility and the broader network suggests uneven implementation of management standards or resource allocation issues across different regions.
