First Phosphate Corp. has announced that its Level 2 American Depositary Receipts will be uplisted to the Nasdaq Global Market, effective August 10, 2026.

The shares will continue to trade under the ticker symbol PHOS, with each ADR representing 10 common shares of the company.

The move from the Nasdaq Capital Market to the Global Market segment is a strategic step for the Saguenay-based firm, aiming to enhance its profile among institutional investors.

Uplisting typically requires meeting stricter financial and liquidity thresholds, suggesting the company has strengthened its balance sheet and market presence since its initial listing.

First Phosphate, which also trades on the Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE: PHOS) and OTCQX (OTCQX: FRSPF), operates in the phosphate mining and fertilizer sector.

The uplisting coincides with a broader trend of resource companies seeking greater access to US capital markets to fund expansion and operational scaling.
