Hedge Brasil Shopping (HGBS11) has signed an agreement to acquire the remaining 75% stake in Shopping Jaraguá Araraquara, a retail property located in the interior of São Paulo state.
The transaction is valued at BRL 216.3 million, allowing the fund to consolidate full ownership of the asset.
Similarly, Vinci Shopping Centers (VISC11) signed a memorandum of understanding to divest stakes in nine shopping centers for approximately BRL 573 million.
The move aligns with a broader trend of consolidation and portfolio restructuring within Brazil’s real estate investment trust (REIT) sector.
In recent months, other major players have executed similar strategic transactions to streamline holdings.
Votorantim Shopping (VSHO11) recently agreed to sell 20% stakes in its Shopping Valinhos and Shopping Hortolândia properties for a total of BRL 37 million.
Similarly, Vinci Shopping Centers (VISC11) signed a memorandum of understanding to divest stakes in nine shopping centers for approximately BRL 573 million.
