A Mozambican business delegation has concluded visits to ExxonMobil and Halliburton in Houston, aiming to deepen partnerships and secure knowledge transfer for the country’s emerging liquefied natural gas (LNG) industry.

The meetings focused on local content initiatives and the participation of national firms in the value chain, according to Club of Mozambique.

The outreach underscores Mozambique’s efforts to attract technical expertise and investment to its Cabo Delgado province, where major LNG projects are under development.

By engaging directly with US energy leaders, the delegation seeks to align local industrial capacity with international operational standards.

This development follows earlier reports of a Mozambican delegation visiting ExxonMobil’s campus to advance similar local content goals. The push for deeper integration comes as Spanish conglomerate Pamesa has also signaled interest in investing in Mozambique’s LNG sector, highlighting growing global attention to the country’s energy potential.

For markets, the news reinforces the long-term supply outlook for LNG, though immediate price impacts remain limited.
