Phoenix Insurance PLC has declared a 12 percent cash dividend for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025.

The payout was approved by shareholders at the company’s 40th annual general meeting, which was held recently and presided over by chairman Mohammed Shoeb.

The dividend announcement underscores the insurer’s commitment to returning capital to investors following the close of the 2025 financial year.

While the specific total payout amount was not detailed in the initial report, the 12 percent yield represents a tangible return for holders of the Dhaka-listed stock.

The decision comes as regional peers also move to distribute profits.

Delta Life Insurance Company Ltd recently announced a 35 percent cash dividend for the same fiscal year, while Fidson Healthcare declared a ₦3.6 billion dividend to support its expansion strategy.
