While Belmonte's nomination was finalized, the alliance did not name a vice-governor candidate, nor did it announce any Senate hopefuls for the region at this stage.
This development follows the federation's recent launch of Plínio Valério as its Senate candidate in Amazonas, signaling a coordinated effort to field candidates across key states.
The move comes as the federal government, led by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, actively lobbied leaders of the Progressive Party (PP) and the União Brazil federation to maintain neutrality in the first round of the presidential election.
