XP Asset has introduced a new exchange-traded fund, XCAP11, designed to track the performance of small-cap companies listed on Brazil's B3 exchange.

The product expands the asset manager's ETF lineup, offering both retail and institutional investors a dedicated vehicle for diversification into the smaller end of the Brazilian equity market.

The launch comes as XP Asset continues to broaden its passive investment offerings.

The firm recently rebranded its S&P 500-tracking ETF from USAL11 to SPXU11, introducing a new methodology aimed at lowering operational costs.

The addition of XCAP11 signals a strategic push to capture demand for domestic small-cap exposure, a segment that has seen varying levels of investor interest amid broader market volatility.

While small-cap stocks in Brazil are often viewed as offering higher growth potential, they also carry greater risk.
