Bank Negara Malaysia reported that its international reserves reached US$132.6 billion as of June 30, 2026.

The figure represents a modest increase from the US$130.5 billion recorded just two weeks earlier, on June 15.

The latest data point extends a consistent trajectory of reserve accumulation for the central bank.

Official assets had previously risen to US$130.63 billion at the end of May, up from US$129.73 billion in April.

The steady monthly gains reflect sustained inflows, bolstering the country's external financial position.

For investors monitoring emerging-market liquidity, the growing reserve buffer provides a cushion against external shocks and currency volatility.
