Ghana’s first-quarter tax revenue and grants totalled GH¢57.5 billion, falling short of budget expectations as energy receipts collapsed.

Oil and gas collections came in at GH¢2.825 billion below the GH¢4.532 billion target, a miss of 37.6% driven by lower international crude prices and reduced output from major producing fields.
