Smartworks Coworking Spaces Limited has completed the acquisition of WorkStudio Spaces Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-based flexible workspace provider, for a cash consideration of 2.47 million SGD.
The transaction, finalized on July 6, 2026, marks a concrete step in the Indian operator’s push into the Southeast Asian market.
The deal adds four centres and approximately 1,500 seats to Smartworks’ existing portfolio in Singapore.
By integrating WorkStudio’s assets, Smartworks aims to consolidate its presence in a key regional hub for multinational corporations and startups seeking flexible office solutions.
This move follows earlier announcements of Smartworks’ strategic intent to expand beyond India.
