Ukraine has launched drone strikes against two major oil refineries in Russia, targeting facilities in the Yaroslavl region and the republic of Bashkortostan.
The attacks, confirmed by Kyiv on Thursday, also caused damage to a warehouse in the Tver region, according to local authorities.
The strikes mark the second consecutive night of assaults on the Slavneft-Yanos refinery in Yaroslavl Oblast, one of Russia’s largest processing facilities.
This follows earlier attacks on Tuesday that triggered fires at refineries in the Krasnodar and Bashkortostan regions, signaling an intensification of Kyiv’s campaign against Russian energy infrastructure.
