Israeli autonomous driving firm Autobrains has announced a partnership with Uber and Nvidia to launch a commercial robotaxi pilot in Munich.

The initiative aims to establish Europe's first autonomous ride-hailing network, pending regulatory approval.

Autobrains CEO Igal Raichelgauz described the technology as a unique system for autonomous driving through agentic artificial intelligence, which breaks down reasoning into small tasks.

The deal underscores the growing reliance on Nvidia's computing infrastructure for real-time AI inference in mobility applications.

As Nvidia seeks to offset saturation risks in its core data-center business, partnerships in emerging verticals like autonomous ride-hailing provide a tangible avenue for sustained chip demand.

The collaboration also highlights the strategic importance of software-defined vehicle architectures in the European market.
