Binance has announced it will suspend cryptocurrency trading services across the European Union starting July 1, 2026.
The global exchange confirmed the withdrawal after failing to secure the necessary authorization under the bloc's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation before the statutory deadline.
The decision marks a significant contraction in the EU's crypto market infrastructure.
Binance, which has long been the dominant player in digital asset trading, will cease operations in France and several other member states.
The suspension is effective immediately upon the July 1 cutoff, leaving European retail and institutional clients to migrate to compliant platforms.
Regulators have maintained a strict stance on the new framework.
