EMA Partners India Ltd has agreed to acquire Taggd, India's largest homegrown Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) firm, in an all-cash transaction valued at ₹113 crore.
The deal, announced Wednesday, is designed to create the nation's largest talent recruitment platform by combining EMA's existing capabilities with Taggd's market-leading RPO operations.
Under the terms of the agreement, Taggd will continue to operate as a distinct brand within EMA's portfolio.
The acquired company will retain its current leadership team, client relationships, and operational structure, suggesting a strategy focused on integration rather than immediate restructuring.
This approach aims to preserve the client trust and service continuity that underpin Taggd's market position.
The acquisition reflects a broader trend of consolidation in the Indian professional services and HR technology sectors.
