ONE Bank PLC has entered into a partnership with Nagad Limited to enable real-time fund transfers from bank accounts to digital wallets.
The agreement allows customers to move money instantly using the bank's mobile application, ONEApp, streamlining the process for users who rely on Nagad for daily transactions.
The deal was formalized at the bank's corporate headquarters in Gulshan, Dhaka.
Muhit Rahman, managing director of ONE Bank, and Md Motasem Billah, administrator of Nagad Limited, signed the agreement, marking a step toward tighter integration between traditional banking infrastructure and mobile financial services in the country.
This collaboration reflects a broader trend in Bangladesh's financial sector, where banks and mobile money operators are increasingly linking their platforms to improve liquidity management and customer convenience.
By bridging the gap between bank accounts and e-wallets, the partnership aims to reduce friction for consumers and small businesses that use both channels.
