Ormazabal has officially broken ground on a new industrial facility in Krefeld, Germany, marking a significant expansion of its manufacturing footprint in Europe.

The Basque-based technology company, which specializes in solutions for the renewable energy and industrial sectors, announced the start of construction on Friday.

The new site is designated as the company's primary industrial hub for central and eastern Europe, with operations expected to commence in 2027.

The move underscores Ormazabal's strategy to deepen its presence in key European markets by localizing production closer to its client base.

By establishing a dedicated facility in Germany, the company aims to enhance supply chain efficiency and responsiveness for customers in the region.

The Krefeld location was selected for its strategic position within the European logistics network, facilitating easier access to both central and eastern European markets.
