Pirelli is set to supply tyres for its 500th Formula 1 Grand Prix this weekend as the championship arrives in Barcelona.

The Italian manufacturer, which has served as the series' sole tyre supplier since 2011, will mark the occasion with a special commemorative livery on the compounds provided for the Spanish Grand Prix.

The milestone underscores Pirelli's long-term commercial and technical commitment to the sport, having supplied over 340,000 kilometers of tyres across five decades of F1 history.

The company's performance in Barcelona will be closely monitored by teams and analysts, as tyre strategy remains a critical variable in race outcomes and championship standings.

The Spanish Grand Prix weekend kicks off with practice sessions on Friday, with the race scheduled for Sunday.

Live coverage will be available on Sky Sports.
