A Russian attack has damaged a production facility belonging to General Cherry, one of Ukraine's largest manufacturers of first-person-view (FPV) drones, the company's founder Yaroslav Gryshyn confirmed on June 22.
The strike represents a direct escalation against Ukraine's domestic defense industrial base, targeting the very assets required to sustain frontline operations.
Gryshyn stated that the company was prepared for such events, asserting that the enemy would not succeed in halting production.
"This is war," Gryshyn said.
"We were prepared for such events.
The enemy will not succeed in stopping us."
The incident highlights the growing risk to Ukraine's decentralized defense manufacturing network.
