The United States and Iran are set to commence technical negotiations in Switzerland on Monday, aimed at operationalizing the terms of their recently signed memorandum.

The talks mark a transition from high-level diplomatic breakthroughs to the granular work of enforcement and compliance.

Iran’s delegation will be led by Kazem Gharibabadi, according to reports from the state-run ISNA news agency.

The Swiss venue has served as the neutral ground for the broader diplomatic track, which saw significant momentum in recent weeks.

This development follows the formal signing of a comprehensive peace agreement between the two nations on June 19, a date confirmed by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The initial high-level sessions had already signaled substantial progress, with officials describing the breakthroughs as significant for regional stability.
