The current leadership of Adria News Network (ANN), under which N1 and Nova S operate, has neither approved nor announced any changes that would merge the two channels' programming, ANN Chief News Executive Brent crude Sadler told the Journalists' Association of Serbia (UNS).
UNS asked Sadler whether the N1 and Nova S newsrooms would be merged, if Nova S's news programming would be discontinued, and whether the Nova S staff would be relocated to Belgrade's Sava Centar.
Sadler said that ANN continues to operate under its existing leadership and organizational structure, noting that the current leadership has not announced or adopted any changes of that nature.
He said that Alpac Capital has not yet finalized its acquisition of ANN.
The ANN Chief News Executive emphasized that any decisions concerning the organization's future, including its operational structure or staffing levels, will be the responsibility of the new owners and their management team.
Sadler concluded that it would be inappropriate for him to comment on or speculate about decisions that will rightfully fall under the jurisdiction of Alpac Capital once the transaction is officially concluded.
