Arihant Foundations & Housing Limited has acquired a prime land parcel on Mount Road, also known as Anna Salai, in Chennai.
The Chennai-based developer announced the outright purchase of the site, which measures over half an acre, to develop a boutique Grade A commercial office project.
The total estimated cost for the development is ₹300 crore.
The acquisition marks a strategic pivot for Arihant, which has traditionally focused on residential developments, into the high-value commercial segment.
By targeting one of Chennai's most prestigious addresses, the company is positioning itself to capture demand from multinational corporations and financial institutions seeking premium office space in the city's central business district.
This move comes amid a broader trend of land banking by major developers in Chennai.
