Brewdog's chief executive has resigned from the role with immediate effect, ending a tenure of less than one year.

The departure comes just months after the Scottish craft brewer was acquired by a US-based firm, marking a significant leadership change during the early integration phase.

A filing with Companies House dated 29 June confirmed the termination of the executive's time as a director.

The move signals potential turbulence at the top of the company as it navigates the post-acquisition landscape.

The abrupt exit follows a pattern of high-profile leadership changes in the sector.

Earlier this year, FanDuel saw its chief executive, Amy Howe, leave after five years, while media firm BuzzFeed announced a controlling stake acquisition by Byron Allen, who assumed the CEO role.
