Co-opbank Pertama (CBP) has commenced the distribution of RM104.8 million in dividends to its eligible members, marking the payout for the financial year ended December 31, 2025.

The cooperative bank announced a dividend rate of 6.5 per cent, with funds being credited directly to member accounts starting today.

The 6.5% rate serves as a return on the members' capital contributions and savings held within the bank during the reporting year.

The distribution reflects the institution's commitment to returning capital to its membership base following the close of the fiscal period.

As a cooperative financial institution, CBP operates on a member-owned model, distinguishing its payout structure from traditional shareholder dividends.

The 6.5% rate serves as a return on the members' capital contributions and savings held within the bank during the reporting year.

The payout follows a broader trend of Malaysian financial institutions finalizing their 2025 fiscal distributions.
