Czech defence manufacturer CSG has established a new US subsidiary, CSG Land Systems North America, to distribute military equipment for NATO member states.
The new entity, headquartered in Michigan, will serve as the American representative for three key suppliers: Excalibur Army, Tatra Defence, and Tatra Truck.
This move formalizes CSG’s strategy to expand its footprint in the North American defence market, leveraging its existing portfolio of artillery and heavy vehicle systems.
The establishment of the US subsidiary aligns with a broader trend of European defence firms seeking to capitalize on increased spending and procurement activity in the United States.
By creating a dedicated local entity, CSG aims to streamline sales, support, and logistics for its partner brands, which are increasingly in demand among NATO allies.
The Michigan location provides strategic access to the US industrial base and key defence procurement hubs.
