Swara Baby Products, a contract manufacturer of baby diapers, adult diapers, and feminine hygiene products, has filed draft papers with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) for an initial public offering.

The company, backed by e-commerce platform FirstCry, aims to raise ₹1,000 crore through the listing to fund manufacturing expansion and support corporate growth.

The filing marks a significant step for the private-label manufacturer, which has leveraged its relationship with FirstCry to scale production.

The capital raise is intended to enhance manufacturing capabilities, allowing the company to broaden its client base beyond its primary backer and strengthen its position in India’s fast-growing personal care sector.

The move comes as Indian markets see renewed interest in consumer-facing IPOs.

The filing follows recent activity in the sector, including the ongoing public offering by Aastha Spintex Ltd, which is seeking to raise ₹170 crore.
