Helsinki Shipyard is constructing a 138.5-meter icebreaker for Canada using a modular assembly method that involves transporting massive steel blocks to the site.

The vessel, valued at approximately €2 billion, is being built piece by piece, with individual steel sections weighing up to 400 tons.

These components are transported over a distance of 300 kilometers to the Helsinki shipyard for final assembly, marking a significant logistical undertaking in the project's execution.
