Israel Police have arrested four Israeli settlers following an alleged attack on a CNN news crew in the West Bank village of Sinjil.

The suspects were detained on Saturday after officers responded to the scene, seizing their vehicle and taking statements from the media personnel involved.

The CNN team was in Sinjil to cover the one-year anniversary of the death of Saif Musallet, a Palestinian-American who was killed by Israeli settlers in July 2025.

The incident marks the latest in a series of confrontations involving journalists in the territory, raising concerns about press safety and access.

The arrests come amid ongoing tensions between Israeli authorities and settler groups, with international media outlets increasingly highlighting the dangers faced by reporters covering the conflict.

The incident has drawn attention to the broader issue of settler violence and its impact on both local communities and foreign correspondents.
