Tech Mahindra has acquired Brazilian IT services provider Alyis Serviços Técnicos LTDA for ₹2.21 crore ($265,000), marking a targeted expansion of its support services in Latin America.
The transaction was executed through the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary and is directly linked to its strategic partnership with Orange Business.
Alyis, a newly incorporated entity, will bolster Tech Mahindra’s ability to deliver localized technical support and maintenance services in Brazil.
The acquisition aligns with the Indian IT firm’s broader strategy to leverage its alliance with the French telecom operator to capture market share in emerging economies.
By integrating Alyis, Tech Mahindra gains immediate on-the-ground presence and regulatory familiarity in a key South American market.
