The delegation, led by Onório Manuel, CEO of MozParks and Vice-President of the Confederation of Economic Associations of Mozambique (CTA), participated in a high-level session hosted by the Business Council for International Understanding, alongside the Embassy of Mozambique and representatives of the Mozambican and U.S. private sectors.

The discussions explored how development finance, export credit and bilateral cooperation mechanisms can support new investment and help transform business opportunities into implementable projects in Mozambique.

This mission allowed us to engage not only with companies interested in Mozambique, but also with the institutions that can help those investments move forward," said Manuel.

"Investment opportunities must be matched by financing, institutional coordination and clear pathways for implementation. This mission allowed us to engage not only with companies interested in Mozambique, but also with the institutions that can help those investments move forward," said Manuel.

For MozParks, the Washington discussions provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships with institutions that can support the development of investment-ready projects and help international companies navigate their entry into the Mozambican market.

The U.S. Business Mission concluded with a networking reception hosted by the Embassy of Mozambique, bringing together members of the delegation, institutional partners and representatives of the U.S. business community. The event also marked the announcement of a reciprocal U.S. business mission to Maputo, creating an opportunity for American companies to engage directly with Mozambican businesses and institutions and explore investment opportunities in the country.
