The ceremony brought together officials from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology (MoECST) and the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), including Ramon Cervantes, Minister of State; Dr Isaac Solomon, Vice President of Operations, CDB; Yolanda Gongora, Chief Education Officer; Ingrid Acosta, Senior Project Coordinator; Elbert Ellis and other CDB officials, as well as the Project Execution Unit.

The Ministry says that the new school directly addresses the need for accessible, early-childhood and primary education in the region.

The facility will provide a stronger academic foundation and unlock brighter future opportunities for youth across Black Water and its surrounding communities.
