China has placed 10 US companies on its export control list, targeting firms with ties to the US military and the rare earths mining sector.

The move, announced by the Ministry of Commerce, serves as a direct retaliation for Washington’s recent decision to restrict Chinese entities.

Beijing stated the measures are necessary to safeguard national security and fulfill international obligations.

The list includes Oshkosh Defense, a manufacturer of military vehicles, alongside other specialized firms involved in the rare earths supply chain.

By targeting these specific entities, China aims to disrupt US defense capabilities and leverage its dominance in critical mineral processing.

The announcement marks a significant escalation in the ongoing trade dispute between the two economic powers.
