NOVVA Group has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the San Jose Solar Power Plant in the Philippines, adding 120 MWp of capacity to its renewable energy portfolio.
The transaction, announced on June 19, marks a strategic expansion of the company’s operations in Southeast Asia as it seeks to anchor its power platform for the AI era.
The acquisition aligns with Novva’s broader strategy to secure reliable, clean energy sources to support the growing power demands of artificial intelligence infrastructure.
By expanding its footprint in the Philippines, the company is diversifying its geographic exposure beyond its recent moves in Latin America.
This deal follows Novva’s agreement to acquire a solar portfolio from ABO Energy in Colombia, which signaled its intent to scale renewable assets across emerging markets.
The Philippines project strengthens Novva’s position as a global provider of energy infrastructure tailored for high-compute environments.
