Persistent Systems has announced it will acquire German digital engineering firm Nagarro, a transaction that will create a combined entity with a revenue run-rate of $2.9 billion.

The deal, confirmed by the company on Saturday, positions the merged group as a significant force in the AI-led digital engineering market.
