Qatar has established a special communication channel aimed at preventing an escalation of tensions in the Strait of Hormuz, according to Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Majed bin Mohammed Al-Ansari.

The announcement signals a concrete step toward stabilizing one of the world’s most critical energy chokepoints, following a recent agreement between the United States and Iran to ensure safe passage through the corridor.
