Renault India has commenced global exports of its all-new Duster model, marking a strategic expansion of the vehicle’s reach beyond the domestic market.
The first shipment, comprising 750 units, departed from the Kamarajar port in North Chennai bound for South Africa.
This move underscores Renault Group’s intent to utilize its Indian manufacturing base as a hub for international distribution, particularly for emerging markets in Africa and beyond.
The launch of global exports for the Duster represents a significant operational milestone for Renault India, the wholly owned subsidiary of the French carmaker.
By initiating shipments to South Africa, the company is testing the viability of its export logistics and gauging demand for the updated SUV in a key regional market.
The Duster, a staple in Renault’s portfolio, has been refreshed to meet evolving consumer preferences and regulatory standards, making it a competitive offering in price-sensitive segments.
