Aditya Birla Capital Ltd reported a 40% year-on-year increase in first-quarter net profit, reaching ₹1,175 crore for the period ended June 30.
The financial services group also saw total income climb to ₹1,187 crore, reflecting broad-based strength across its diversified business lines.
Peer Piramal Finance recently reported a 67% jump in Q1 profit, while Birlasoft, another affiliate within the CKA Birla Group, posted a 51.
The results were underpinned by significant growth in the company’s asset management, life insurance, and health insurance segments.
Total assets under management (AUM) rose 36% year-on-year to ₹7,52,745 crore by the end of the quarter, highlighting the group’s expanding market share in India’s wealth and insurance sectors.
