PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (Antam) has lowered its daily gold price to Rp 2.601 million per gram, marking a continued softening in the Indonesian market.

The state-owned miner also reduced its buyback price by Rp 15,000 to Rp 2.346 million per gram, signaling a pullback in local retail demand.

The domestic price action contrasts with the broader global narrative, where the World Gold Council recently raised its 2026 target to $4,100, citing a shift in sentiment toward the metal.

This follows a previous reduction where the 24-karat spot rate fell Rp 14,000 to Rp 2.641 million, indicating a sustained downward pressure on domestic valuations.
