Aval Fiduciaria has introduced a new digital capability that allows multiple buyers to validate their identities simultaneously during joint property purchases.

The Colombian trust company, a key player in the country's real estate transaction ecosystem, aims to eliminate the logistical barriers of time and space that have traditionally slowed down deals involving co-owners.

Under the previous process, co-buyers often had to coordinate schedules to appear at notary offices or trust company branches at the same time, creating delays and added costs.

The new system leverages digital identity verification to allow participants to complete this mandatory step remotely and concurrently, regardless of their physical location.

Alejandro Gómez, president of Aval Fiduciaria, highlighted that the measure is designed to modernize the transaction flow.

By decoupling identity validation from physical presence, the company seeks to reduce the administrative friction that often discourages potential buyers or prolongs closing timelines.
