Bajaj Auto reported a 42.3% year-on-year increase in standalone net profit for the first quarter of fiscal 2027, reaching ₹2,982.84 crore.
The two- and three-wheeler manufacturer also saw revenue from operations climb 37% to ₹17,243.72 crore, up from ₹12,584.45 crore in the same period last year.
The results underscore sustained momentum in India’s motorcycle segment, where Bajaj holds a dominant position.
The sharp rise in both top-line and bottom-line figures suggests effective pricing power and volume growth, even as the broader automotive sector navigates fluctuating input costs.
Investors will likely focus on whether this performance can be sustained through the rest of the fiscal year.
Bajaj Auto’s strong showing comes as other Indian conglomerates report mixed results.
