BBVA has named Gloria Couceiro as the new president of its Colombian operations, replacing Mario Pardo.

The Spanish bank announced the appointment on Tuesday, marking another shift in its Latin American leadership structure.

Pardo, who steps down from the Colombia role, will assume the position of Global Head of Institutional Engagement for the BBVA Group.

The move signals a continued effort by the bank to align its regional leadership with broader strategic priorities.

This appointment comes amid a wider wave of executive changes at BBVA.

The bank has recently restructured its top management, including replacing the chief executive in Mexico and appointing a new chief financial officer.
