Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) reported a year-on-year increase in net profit of 8.2% to ₹1,048 crore for the June quarter of fiscal 2027.
The state-owned heavy electrical equipment manufacturer also saw its revenue climb 25.3% to ₹5,533 crore, driven by continued execution in its power and infrastructure segments.
Net profit fell 52.4% from the previous quarter, while revenue dropped 45.
Despite the positive year-on-year growth, the results highlight a significant sequential contraction.
Net profit fell 52.4% from the previous quarter, while revenue dropped 45.6% compared to the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026.
Total expenses for the period rose to ₹4,297.6 crore, indicating ongoing cost pressures despite the top-line growth.
The mixed performance underscores the cyclical volatility inherent in BHEL’s order book.
