Billionbrains Garage Ventures, the parent company of digital investment platform Groww, reported a consolidated net profit of ₹735.04 crore for the first quarter of fiscal year 2027, marking a 94.3% year-on-year increase.

The company also posted a 66% rise in revenue for the period, reflecting strong user engagement and transaction volumes on its platform.

The results underscore the rapid scaling of India's digital wealth management sector, where low-cost, app-based platforms are capturing market share from traditional brokers.

Billionbrains' ability to nearly double its bottom line while growing top-line revenue by two-thirds suggests improving operating leverage and margin expansion as the user base matures.

According to Hindu Businessline, the figures were released on Wednesday, highlighting the company's continued dominance in the retail investment space.

The profit jump is particularly notable given the competitive landscape, with several fintech rivals vying for retail investor attention amid broader market volatility.
