Portuguese chemical group Bondalti has completed a €76 million investment to decarbonize its operations at the Estarreja Chemical Complex in Portugal.
The project, named REPower Chemicals, incorporates solar panels, new electrolyzers, and electric boilers to reduce the site's carbon footprint.
The initiative is expected to cut annual CO2 emissions by more than 36,000 tonnes, representing a 28% reduction in the company's total emissions.
