Bosch Mobility Solutions and IDFC FIRST Bank have launched a new toll collection system in India, leveraging Multi-Lane Free Flow (MLFF) technology.
The partnership aims to streamline vehicular movement and enhance the efficiency of the country's digital public infrastructure.
The initiative represents a strategic expansion for IDFC FIRST Bank into the fintech and infrastructure payments space.
By integrating Bosch's MLFF technology, the bank facilitates seamless, cashless toll transactions, reducing congestion and improving data capture for traffic management.
This development follows IDFC FIRST Bank's recent launch of a direct integration with the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), which allows businesses to make real-time provident fund payments.
The bank has been actively expanding its digital payment rails, mirroring moves by peers such as IndusInd Bank, which also launched EPFO integrations earlier this year.
