Leaders from the Zenica branch of the Red Cross are traveling to Russia to retrieve two Bosnian mountaineers who survived a deadly storm on Mount Elbrus.
The departure comes as Bosnia and Herzegovina observes a day of mourning.
Tuesday was designated as a day of mourning across the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Brcko District in response to the deaths.
Authorities have prohibited cultural and entertainment programs in public places, and media outlets in the affected regions have been instructed to adjust their programming to reflect the somber occasion.
The incident on Mount Elbrus, the highest peak in Europe, has drawn significant attention in the Balkans.
