Brazil’s Federal Revenue Service (Receita Federal) has opened the consultation window for the third batch of income tax refunds, allowing eligible taxpayers to check their status ahead of the scheduled payout on July 31.

The third tranche comprises 2,743,200 individual refunds, with a total value of R$4.61 billion.

This release follows the standard staggered distribution model used by the tax authority to manage liquidity and processing loads during the annual refund period.

Taxpayers can now verify their refund status through the Receita Federal’s online portal.

The funds are expected to be credited to bank accounts on the specified date, providing a modest liquidity boost to households in the final week of July.

The release of the third batch signals the ongoing progression of the tax refund cycle, which typically spans several weeks.
