Brookfield Asset Management’s private-equity division has agreed to acquire Gregg Distributors LP for $1.6 billion.
The transaction targets the Edmonton-based distributor, which supplies power tools, safety equipment, and auto parts to businesses across Western Canada, including those in the oil field services, construction, and trucking industries.
